My name is Aria Vega, and I’m a sex educator, writer, editor, and voice artist. I’m a recovering New Yorker now living in Georgia with my cat daughter, Willow. Our perfect little house is full of nail polish, vinyl records, and vibrators— and you’ll never believe how I found the place. That unlikely series of events let me put peace and pleasure at the forefront of daily life, even while grappling with severe chronic pain.
I thought slinging dildos and teaching workshops at an upscale sex shop would be just a fun part-time gig. But over time, I learned that the work was about more than just selling shiny gadgets. In a culture that keeps us chronically detached from our bodies, taboos about pleasure effectively obscure desire, that inner compass directing each of us toward our highest human potential. My calling is helping others understand this, and holding the hurt that’s unearthed along the way.

Newer Ventures
I was alchemized into an artist in the rusty red glow of my high school’s darkroom. Photography has been a hobby of mine ever since, and when I close my eyes I can still smell the air back there, raw with the acid bite of old fixer and new beauty. These days I paint more with words than with light, but whether I’m illustrating written stories or digitizing my daydreams, photography remains an essential creative outlet for me. I’m so happy to share it with you!
